Dashboard Studio - Making Updates

When you have a change to your dashboard, select the 'Add a new draft' button

--This will create a new draft version

---On the right side, click the pencil icon to edit your Draft Name. Recommendation: Name your draft, specifically adding the date for easy reference

 

To edit any of the icons:

Click on any icon to edit that specific icon

  • Button Caption - The name underneath the icon on your dashboard
  • Button Target - What the icon is tied to - the "built in" modules will be prefilled. *This can be a bit confusing so please don't hesitate to reach out to your Implementation Specialist for assistance if you're unsure what the target should be.
      • If you would like to tie the icon to a URL, click the rride check box & paste the URL into the Button Target field - see example below

  • Button Image - Select an image from the gallery for your icon (full list of icons found here: https://m.core-apps.com/icons.html)
  • Or, upload your own icon by clicking the 'Choose File' button to select the icon file from your computer. 
  • Click SAVE to save your icon changes. 
  • Or, if you want to completely delete the icon from your app, click the DELETE BUTTON in the bottom left corner of the pop up. 

To add new icons:

Click the ADD NEW BUTTON button to be brought to a popup similar to the one shown above, adding the applicable information for the new icon you're wanting to add. 

 

To reorganize your icons:

Click the REORGANIZE BUTTONS button which will cause the icons on the dashboard to all shake. Drag the icons around to the respective order you would like the icons to appear.

 

To delete all the buttons (USE WITH CAUTION):

If you are looking to completely delete and clear your dashboard, click the DELETE ALL BUTTONS button. This cannot be "undone" so please use this button with caution.

 

When you have made any changes to your draft and you are ready for this to be live on your app, click the "APPLY TO LIVE DASHBOARD" button. 

 

If you have created a Draft that you no longer need or want, you can choose to "DELETE DRAFT" by clicking the button of the same name.
